  Happy Wednesday Folks~!

I love that song "I hope You Dance"..  Apparently this polar bear loves it too.

   Would'nt it be wonderful if we all felt confident enough to "Dance like no one is Watching"?

 How freeing on so many levels that would be.. It might go along way to improving our entire life in more ways than we could ever imagine.

  So my wish for you today is "I hope you Dance"~!

Cherry Dump Cake and Progress Report

Hi Ya'll   ~!

   Things have been busy here on Dream Lane, very busy..

 The new 15 light glass door with sidelights is in , thank goodness.  all the sheet rock and interior molding has been repaired -primed and painted.  

 The porch ceiling fan is up and spinning a warm breeze- its HOTTTTTTTTTT  here in NC and so dang humid its like breathing water.  fancy shmanchy new door lock and handle is on.  I never have had one like this so I grin when I look at it.:)

 The Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatha Stewart white wicker porch set arrived and the outdoor fabric came today so I'll be at the sewing machine for a week with all that cause I am sooooooooo slowwwwwwwwww..  I will say when I ordered this from Home Depot I had my doubts but its real MARTHA quality and even with the 5inch think back cushions on the seats are still deep enough to make my feet dangle about 3 inches from the floor..  It got great reviews and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a porch or patio set..    I choose a mid range olive green for all the cushions , still gotta choose pillow fabric..  OH YEA ~ fabric.com has their outdoor fabrics on sale till the 28th of June.
  The table I bought and painted isnt going to work so the search is on for 2 smaller ones- for beside each chair.

  More to do around here and lots to put the finishing touches on before I can take pics.. maybe by next tuesday..

Introducing Zoe

  I've been busy getting well and I am thankful each step takes me further in that direction.
 My therapist suggested a therapy dog for my particular condition, since they are proven to help make great strides in the healing process.  

     I do have to say I felt calmer when she was in my space and though just a pup she laid beside me when I sat on the floor, so she's already learning her job well.

  You're probably thinking Lab about now but there were no labs available at this time and thats just as it was meant to be.

  Here's Zoe.  She is 11 weeks old and still has 8 weeks of training before I can make her mine.
 I am sooooooooooooooo excited and will be visiting her weekly till the time comes to bring her here.
   I feel we instantly had a heart connection and it does'nt get better than that.  She'll be my companion here at home, as well as when I go out.   I'm really looking forward to getting out more and being able to stay out longer with her by my side.

of course she would'nt look at the camera~! lol..

   I guess by Christmas ya'll will be seeing pictures that look about like THIS..

Exterior-This is It~!

   After reading all the comments, more Measuring and lots of Thinking.. I believe I've come up with our design plan.
  It  actually came to me in my dreams... I'll take that as a sign from the Universe for which I am grateful..  Never hurts to have help from those on the other side...and this side too , of course lol

    It will set us APART in this brick cul de sac neighborhood:)

   Add lots of curb appeal at a small cost.

  Very doable within an 8 week period-- if not sooner cause my nickname among the subs is Sonny the Slavedriver  lol

  Get the light, bright, happy, open, appealing to the eye look I've dreamed of. She will at last be the Home I always knew she could be while still maintaining her original character.

Redesigning My Exterior

  If I tried to tell ya'll how much time, work, MONEY and effort Paint Shop Pro has saved me thru the years, I couldnt:)   Likely many 10's of Thousands of dollars.     I like to SEE something before I spend a penny.
   I realize I'm very Blessed to have these skills as well as building, remodeling and creative ability..
 I've also helped 100's of other folks save a bundle by hiring me to show them what they SEE in their minds Eye, in an actual picture they can save and print out.   They dont mind spending a few hundred on 5 different renditions in order to save thousands of dollars in errors or building things that would never look appropriate or beautiful..  I want to take this opportunity to thank those of my customers who also read my blog.
  Great working with you all and seeing the smiles on your faces and the joy in your eyes when your design is complete~!!!

 Now, on to my own exterior.   For many years my Mood was dark and subdued but in the past few months with meds , therapy, prayers and WORK I am feeling Lighter Brighter and More Colorful and I'm ready for my home to reflect my Healing..

   I wont write about the changes as they are clearly visable in the sample pictures.

 I'd love for you to choose YOUR favorite and tell me in your comment  which one and WHY, pretty please:)

   as it is::
 not the best pic- it actually looks much better in real life...

Not sure yet which one I'll do but I'll probably do the original level first- see how I like it for a month or so and wait till Fall to add dormers- if I do that at all.. But dont let me effect your Fav.
