Living Room Mood Board

   Hi Folks.

Did ya'll think I got lost:)   actually I sorta did.
Its been a very rainy week in NC and I'm still in the process of setting up 2 new windows 8 computers with all the programs we need for work and play around here.  Its going very well but to give my mind a rest in between reading xhtml's and finding patches so old programs work with this new process I've been making a mood board for the Spring living room decor.
I have shelves full of accessories,,   lots of live plants to sit around and more than enough wall decor.
The sofa and rug were in place back in november , so lamps chairs and fabrics were what needed to be chosen.

Hopefully by mid march I can have my pillows and drapes made and the other items in place. I've decided not to rush this process and just enjoy it.    For the winter season, things will be swapped out for the black white and apple green but I think the additions of aqua teal and varying shades in between will be nice for a spring/summer room.

thanks so much for stopping by to see me.   I'll get back to posting more often soon.
In the meantime I sure am enjoying coming to visit ya'll..

Whats It Wednesday

tutorials tips and tidbits

 see ya soon

I think I have more fun with the process than when I'm "done." I've been so drawn to blues lately and love that lamp.

Oh Boy! I love playing with mood boards even when it isn't for any real decorating I might do. I can only imagine how exciting it must be to do so for real ideas you are going to use in your home. I like all your choices so far!

You are a great planner! The board looks good and is a great idea to see how things look together. I love teal, too, and thought about adding it to my almost all white living room or bath.

Keep up the good work! :)

XO,
Jane

Love your mood board, Sonny! The colors are pretty and restful for the eye. You mentioned apple green... I miss my dining room being apple green. We painted it a turquoise blue after the rebuild.... but I am seriously thinking about repainting it apple green again. Would love to see your green and black. melinda

Love your inspiration board Sonny! I have no idea how to make one of those nor the patience to figure it out.

This all looks great! How are you liking your slip-covered sofa? We just stayed in a house on the beach with a similar couch and I was reassured that it wore very well and was told it was simple to throw the slip in the washer. I'm curious what you would say.
