Debbie Doos Copy Cat Party
The sample....
I'll tell ya I was spittin nails mad this morning when my blue striped fabric for the bar stool copy did'nt arrive..
I called and the guy reminded me this past monday, mail didnt run so the fabric would be a day or 2 behind. sheesh, I should have ordered it sooner. Oh well it'll make pretty pillows for somewhere I guess.
Laurie, Brenda and CeeKay all said kitchen.... wooohooooo.. good guessing Ladies
I hope ya realize I buffed these apples for ya.. yes I did. Cause YOU are worth it.
I thought the red stripe towel would be easy to find. I see them all over blog land BUT noooooooooo,
I could'nt find a single one. I took a piece of drop cloth I had left over- painters tape and painted my own stripe.. Ya'll ever notice some projects just dont go smooth, like you think they will :-)
I'm so happy you came to visit with me.
I love having to here and I appreciate your time.
Now I need to get over to Deb's and see everyone else's CC.. I know it will all be Fabulous..
xoxo
Oh I love it. Yours looks amazing and I think it's a great copy. Buffing the apples, wow, unreal. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteSometimes things just don't go right. Lots of times in fact. Some days I think I just should have stayed in bed and not gotten up to start with.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Well in spite of the fabric Sonny, I love your photos, and your buffed apples!~ I can't wait to see the fabric. I did not guess that one at all! Thanks for sharing my dear friend!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job, Sonny, and I love your humor!
ReplyDeleteVery clever, Sonny! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty vignette. I love how it is styled.
ReplyDeleteSonny- THAT looks great- You are a GOOD copycatter! lol LOVE it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect copycat! Darn for your fabric, I'm sure it would have been lovely, but pillows would make me very happy!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I think you did a swell job of being a copy cat. lol
ReplyDeleteThese are just great pics and that one is unreal. How in the world did you manage to do that.
Hope your fabric comes in.
Love ya
Maggie
Nice job, Sonny! I think you did a great copy of that picture. You watch, the fabric comes in today's mail! : ) I feel like I see red and white towels all over, but isn't that what usually happens ~ when you are specifically looking for that one color scheme you can't find it anywhere.
ReplyDeleteAwesome copy Sonny!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great Sonny! Do you have an IKEA near you? You can get the red striped towels there...
ReplyDeleteSonny,
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! Buffing the apples is something I would do...it's all in the details!!! I agree, red towels are NOT easy to find. Even harder to find are yellow. Blue is in abundance. I adore that you made yours!
Fondly,
Pat
What an inspiring photo! I would still use the fabric for the barstools...they look fantastic! Great copy cat. I love your vignette!

Morning Sonny,
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely vignette. Very pretty
and great photography as well.
Cool you made your own striped towel,
isn't it amazing how when you are looking for something specific and they were all over the place not long ago, and now it is like they have just disappeared off the face of the earth!! lol
Too bad about your fabric not arriving on time, but I am sure you will put it to good use somewhere else.
Take care hon,
blessings, Nellie
This is absolutely beautiful Sonny!!!
ReplyDeleteAHHH, Sonny, I think yours is GREAT.
ReplyDeleteI love those bright shiny apples, girl.:)
Some photos are so hard to copy....I tried nearly all one day, in 95 degree weather, to get shots of a table I had set up...it just didn't work, for some reason. I never did get good shots of it.
You did GOOOOOD !!
Love it! And, you did a great job. It looks ever so cozy. And yes! I do know about jobs not going smoothly. That would probably be every single thing I undertake. :-) Your sense of humor makes it fun to read about though...... sorry.... *wink*....
ReplyDeleteNow, about the RED... I've been hot on the collectors circuit finding bits and bobs of it here and there. I have a kitchen re-do coming up too. Well, don't look for it anytime soon........with the daughter back in school and me watching the grandson things are getting seriously backlogged. NUTS. On the upside, I do really enjoy spending time with him.
Lovies!
Spencer
xoxoxo
Of course you painted the stripe on the towels!
ReplyDeleteSonny, your towel and apples look great with your other items...I was here last night and posted and I'm guessing it is off in cyberspace again.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the stools would look great with that blue fabric. Great post. Helen
You are one clever lady, Miss Sonny! Love it all, great job! The red and blues are such a favorite of mine, looks so crisp and classy!
ReplyDeleteHi darling, you are one clever lady painting your own stripes. Love your buffed apples. Can't wait to see what you do with the fabric when it comes. hugs ~lynne~
ReplyDeleteSonny, Your "copy" turn out fabulous! I love your buffed apples and the fact that you made your own red striped towel. I can sure relate to having a dark kitchen. Can't wait to see what you make with your stripey blue fabric! :-)

Sonny, I love anything red, and on white, it pops beautifully. I especially love the buffed apples (they are so shiny, I wondered if they were faux!). Leave it to you to paint stripes when you can't find what you're looking for - so smart. laurie
