I bought Lampshades too:)

 So far I have seen Debbie at DebbieDoos  and Kathy at Creative Home Expressions posted about their walmart - document style lampshades.
I got 3 a couple weeks ago and 4 more this week. I always buy a few more than I need because every time I get something  at least one of my gal pals wants one too..  Hot little sellers, they are:)  Mine was $9.95   .. Kathy got her's cheaper.
So far I think I'm the only one who's gotten the drum style..
Lovin' the change~!
heres a before and after together...
the shade was covering the top half of the lamp- what was I thinkin':) hmmmm

I also took an old lamp and wrapped some twine on it for a new look.  I had put scrap book paper on sections of it last year and topped it with a shade that was too big..  oh well, its fixed now...

If ya'll want any of these lampshades ya better get out there and grab them. They are going fast~!

    Haha! You weren't kidding, Sonny! I was looking for that other shape, but figured I better just take what I can get. I'll have to look again next time I go. You're right, it's always good to pick up an extra for a friend ~ or another lamp in your own house! : )

    I love these lampshades...and I'm seeing them everywhere! it is sooooo on my list of things to purchase now...in the very near future! lol

    These look great! I rarely go to Walmart, as we have a Target so close, but I will...I have a couple of lamps that could use these shades!! ;-D

    I just saw those on Kathy's blog. Walmart, who knew? Your previous post with the painted chairs was so cool. I saw that done with ASCP and thought "Whaaa?"

    Fabulous!! I love those lamps and using the twine is genius. I can't believe those lampshades are from Walmart. I was there, just yesterday but never went into the lamp isle. I've got to make a return so I'm, for sure, going to check them out.

    HI Sonny! I bought mine from Walmart too about a month ago and the rooster lamp it's on at Dollar General for $2.50! Just goes to show you don't need alot of cash to put together something for your home!

    I bought the drum shade and 3 bells; one for me and two for daughter. I LOVE them....
    Now, excuse me ...I have a couple things to do...go to Dollar General for a rooster lamp and wrap a lamp with twine...:)))

    Hi Sonny,
    Late to the party but just wanted to let you know that my friend was able to get me 2 of the shades from WalMart! Once the holidays are over I will change out the burgundy shades on the buffet with these for a much lighter, less heavy feel! Thanks for the heads up :)
