I want to make your wednesday and everyday Happier and easier to get through. So with that in mind, I have brought you these extremely helpful tips.:-)
I've personally tried no. 6 and its a real winner..
I will be trying no. 4 on my Daughter, lol I'm thinking its a winner even before I try it..
THESE REALLY WORK!! I checked this out on Snopes and it's for real!
I know you'll want to try at least one of them,
1. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.
2. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT BY USING THE SINK.
3. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE A TIMER.
4. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.
5. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.
6. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE.

IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.
7.. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
8. If you try any of the above tips I am NOT responcible for the results. I'm innocent I tell you, INNOCENT ~!

To all those who posted comments on my teapot tour , YES, I made that Baby and 230 others, so far.. As suggested I put a clickable tag on my side bar so you can see some other
samples and read a little about them. I'll be adding my email to each new post I make so if you need to contact me, you can.. Hopefully I'll remember to do that..
I do appreciate your comments and your suggestions and I am doing my best to implement them, if I can figure out how to without aggravating Marla at Always Nesting, too much.. I know she appreciates it too , lol...

A couple of these items still need some work and others are brand new and still had the tags on them.. I get so dang excited in Goodwill and thrift stores I almost break out in hives , giggle.
OK Sonny, hush and get on with the good part-- the PHOTOS
The large white jar was multicolored- in garish tones I might add. I spray painted it white but I see in the picture it still needs something. Gonna have to give that some thought and I am open to suggestions- so feel free to suggest to your little hearts content. I know some of you Pro spray painters will be able to tell me how to make it BOOOOtiful.. Jar~ 1.00
The plaque with the grapes was 50 cents. It looks like its supposed to be glazed on the white frame section but wasnt done too well.. any ideas??
Large candle jar 2.00 ~ splurged on that lol
small candle holder--very heavy for its size~25 cents
2 tiny tea pots 1.00 each=love them sooooooo much..
planted 2.00 and worth every penny- got it a few weeks ago but it just had to be in this photo..
Next is me playing in my art program and doing a collage or would that be a mosiac.. either way looks good to me.
Thats it for this post Folks.
I hope the Helpful Tips brought a smile to your wednesday and that you enjoyed the photos of my newest finds and bargains.

Love all your blue and white. I really like the white jar plain, it will go with anything.
ReplyDeleteLove the tips Sonny! I like the WD 40 too and duct tape...perfect for childrens mouths lol!~ Are you looking for Goodwill hunting blog? I have him on my blog roll....I lost him but now I found him...he is a big goodwill shopper and has some awesome stuff! You blue showcase is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI am still chuckling over your tips!! Love your white vase, l'd leave it white too! Glad I stopped in, your blog is great! I am sort of new and just roaming around, love it!
ReplyDeleteI think I need #4 ~ I set my clock a half hour before I have to get up because I hit snooze like 4 times! Love the jar ~ what about a rub-on. I know there's a fleur de lys rub-on running around that I'd like to get myself. I don't get to hit Good Will as often as I'd like but a Wednesday linky would be great.
ReplyDeleteLove the tips, I'm envious of your GW finds. My friend Joan (Apple Jack Lane) and I have visited our local GW, Mission, and SA in the hopes of a great find - we've come to the conclusion that we need to travel to a larger city.
ReplyDeleteYour babies, simply beautiful.
Hi Sonny..lovely post! ooh I love that big white jar..fabulous! Everything looks beautiful!! Yay..fantastic! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteKiki~
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it all- the tips and the teapots!! And yes, number 6 is a winner!

ReplyDeleteLove the humor!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great tips!! All your finds are beautiful...Kathy
ReplyDeletei just stopped in this morning but so glad i came back by. your tips are greatly appreciated and by the way i still can't stop laughing about tip #5...i love your blues, teapots, and babies.
ReplyDeletegw thrifting, one of my fav things to do too. and to keep me from bringing in more to my home than taking out, if vowed no going in to shop unless i have a donation to drop off on the way in. working so far! thanks sonny for all the lovely things you share.
Oh your tips are great! I'm still laughing. Love all of your beautiful blue and white finds, and I love the prices you paid for them! I wanna go shopping with you! laurie
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh! I just looked through all off those beautiful babies! They are incredible! You are so talented! laurie
ReplyDeleteI'm just cracking up! I just hope my four boys don't see the tip about the toilet seat!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics with the blue and white!
BTW...love your header. I may have said that before but it's true...I do!
ReplyDeleteI just did a laundry redo over a GW purchase. $4.00 whole new laundry room. I had the wall paint, just needed the motivation.
ReplyDeleteLove all the blue and white! Sorry I can't think of any suggestions off the top of my head, it's getting late here! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm off to see the tea party below.
Katherine
I'm sure those tips will come in handy and make life so much happier for me! LOL! Very pretty blue and white vignette!
ReplyDeleteYour header is breathtaking!
DD
Sonny, I love those tips. Your GW finds are terrific. I wish I could find nice things there. If you want the framed distressed better I would either paint the frame and then sand a little and glaze it or just sand some places and glaze it and skip the painting part.
ReplyDeleteThank ya'll so much.. I appreciate all of you and your comments and suggestions. I am so glad you like my header. I plan to open a new site and offer them to other bloggers. I made need some suggestions on that issue so watch for a "more questions" post from me..
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday~!
Sonny
I needed a good wake up laugh this morning and it sure beats the mousetrap/snooze button tip!! Love all your teapots, Sonny!

ReplyDeleteI definitely need #4. Love the vignette, and the prices, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips- love #6!!
ReplyDeleteI adore blue and white. Your collection is wonderful.
Rhonda
I just heard Dr. Oz say that the sleep you get if you set the snooze is worthless and that we should all just set the alarm at the time we want to get up and we would be much more rested. I'm a snoozer! Love the blue and white!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sonny,
ReplyDeleteI just wandered into you blog and it is wonderful!
I can't find a link to email you, but I would like to ask about a piece of fabric you used in an older post. Please email me if you have a moment...no rush...
Sincere thanks,

Love the blue and white and tip #6!! lol Happy week!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteNumber 6 is a fave. My husband heard it from someone else and passed it on to me. HOWEVER, he seems to forget when applicable.
ReplyDeleteLove number 3 - it's both scary and gross.
Number 5? LOL!
Thanks for the laughs, sonny-bunny!
P.S. Lovely blue/white vignette, of course. ;)
Keep trying to follow. I'll check with google. Look at before and after for bathroom redo. I think you were looking for that link. Have a great day, Lori
