It looks great, Sonny! I can't believe everything that you accomplished since you first posted about it. Your front door is a masterpiece! : )
ReplyDeleteI love the way your porch turned out. Here it is end of summer and I've finally got my deck looking half way how I want it. That's the way it goes. Wish I had the money to buy the wicker settee I've been eyeing all summer...it's now on big clearance but I still can't pull together the funds....maybe next year. I'd love it if you linked up at my party - Mod Mix Monday. I know my readers would love to see your porch...http://www.modvintagelife.com
ReplyDeleteSonny- You did an absolutely fantastic job on that front porch. It looks like a comfortable "room" where you could just sit down, enjoy yourself and relax. LOVE it! I hope it is cool enough to enjoy it for a while now. It was in the 90's here today. We are usually at about 70 degrees this time of year. Unbelievable for us and the humidity is awful.
ReplyDeleteYour door is a work of art- gorgeous!!!!
Hope you have a great week, Sonny. Keep the coffee pot on for when I drop by to sit a spell! Love ya- Diana

ReplyDeleteAll the work you guys did looks amazing, truly wonderful. It really brightens up you gorgeously long porch that I'm so jealous of! You and I must be on the same "plane" as far updating things, I just re-did my front door. I know exactly what you mean when you say "When I look at it I smile"...
Have a great week!

I am exhausted after reading about all you have done. Now it is time to come and rest on your lovely porch and drink a mint julep with you and talk and talk and laugh and talk. Okay, I know you've still got more to do but you will ALWAYS have more to do:) love you friend.

Oh, Sonny! I'm late in seeing this as I've been sewing all week! Your front porch is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. The wicker furniture is so pretty and love the little table you transformed - you even have table lamps! I love it. I'm sure the fan is a big nice treat. I love your pretty front door and it make your home even look bigger. I know you're loving the sidelights! Your garage door looks fabulous! I love that hardware. Oh, honey, you need a break now! Everything looks fabulous! Thank you so much for noticing my hair. I'm trying to grow it out. I've already cut the back about 3 inches trying to let the sides catch up. I was getting tired of my 'little boy hair' ! ;)
ReplyDeleteYour porch has been featured at Maria's Home Away From Home party, did you see it? My doll was featured too! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Sonny, I just discovered your blog through Our Home Away From Home, where I too (lucky me) was featured this last week. You porch is amazing, what I really like is the sidelights at your front door, it fits perfectly with your home. The low plants around your porch is so lovely, and your furniture is adorable. I am your newest follower!

What a gorgeous front porch! Love the new front door, too. I've always wanted a glass front door, the light must be awesome! Great job!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
Really lovely! You've inspired me to fluff the pillows on my own front porch. That Goodwill table redone is...amazing! My favorite thing is makeovers..and yours is fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve all the compliments for this makeover, Sonny! It is already a pleasant sunroom minus the walls. By that, what do you think about an enclosed porch or even just a screened porch, so you can use this warm space anytime? ;) Nida@All County Exteriors
ReplyDeleteIt’s certainly nice because it consumes less space on both sides. Though what we did with our full sliding door was to adjust the cabinet, so it isn’t exactly backed up against the wall. Of course the drawback is that we had to use bolts, but it was okay since it was not for a major room anyways. Anyways, thanks for sharing! Will definitely pin this!
