- Maybe I should have named my post, "Clocheless in Carolina " , giggle..
- Since I've been waiting for this for weeks, I just had to participate.
- My cake plate is As Cloche As it Gets to a real Cloche at Sonny's House:-)
- I went to Marty's Cloche party early this morning and I saw some of the most beautiful, magazine worthy displays I've ever seen.. Needless to say I feel a little silly posting mine but its the thought that counts, right? So , thanks for letting me play too..
- My Birdies and I appreciate your visit and wish you a happy Cloche Day~!!
- thanks so much for hosting this party, Marty....
!~ Happy Spring ~!
Sonny

Great idea, Sonny! I have one of those cake plates, too, but never thought to use it for this kind of display! Must think outside of the box {or in this case, the cloche}.
ReplyDeleteHi Sonny! Oh, cake plates and covers work just fine for a cloche! I love reading your reasons! You make pretty very well. Happy Clocheness.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter,
Shelia ;)
You are too funny! Love it- as always, you can make anything pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed holiday
xoxo Pattie
Beautiful! Love the "nesting."
ReplyDeleteHi Sonny! I think you are funny, love that, and I really like your cloche idea. And, I love your Poms! They are so cute. Thanks for visiting me. I am following you too now. I enjoy a giggle too so we will be "cloche" friends! Oh and I think that the numbers showed up because you entered the list feature instead of the centering one. Just a thought. Bentley and I wish you a blessed Easter!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
Of course your cloche belongs in the party! It is SO cute. And I really thought you numbered your sentences!!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Easter, Sonny! :-)
xoxo

Oh I love your cake cloche and the nest with the cute little birds is gorgeous. I am so thrilled you joined the party. Just lovely. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your birdies!! Your entire display just works together beautifully :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Gail
I love your using the cake plate cover for a cloche and the results are beautiful. Reminds me of the "another use for" articles in "Real Simple" magazine. I'm going to follow your lead; my cake plate and cover don't get that much use -- two people don't need an entire layer cake! Love your creativity! Annie Joy
ReplyDeleteThat will work SOnny! You may start a new trend now in the Cloching business:) I love it, looks great for Spring...just don't bake a cake anytime soon:!~
ReplyDeleteLove them all!
ReplyDeleteBTW...thanks for stopping by and checking on Mackenzie every now and then...(we love it)!
Happy Easter friend!
Donna
What a clever idea! I never thought to use any of my cake plates as a cloche. Love the outside the box thinking Sonny!

Love your birdy cake plate cloche.
ReplyDeleteIt is so much fun to see how some people have a knack for decorating with different items. Elevating your cloche brings a new dimension to your table. You can keep this out all spring. Hope you have a Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI had been wanting to join in too but all I had was glass-domed cake plate so I used one also ;) Your birdies looks so sweet nestled in your cloche.

My family and I are always punning about cloches, too funny! I love all yours! Lezlee
ReplyDeleteHey Sonny! I love it. I too am Clocheless in Carolina, seems like I saw them everywhere several months back and didn't know what to do w/them. Now I know, an cannot find one! I also thought of the cake plate idea but didn't have the guts to do it. I LOVE that you did! Mostly, I really love HOW you did it. It is fantastic! Love the birds! Looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteSonny,
ReplyDeleteYours is beautiful! Good job, and thanks for sharing!
I don't have a cloche, so I must go to ebay and see what I can find to participate.
Happy Easter!
Robin
Hi Sonny, I think your cloche is magazine worthy. Very cute and spring like.
ReplyDeleteBut your cloche is so lovely, Sonny. I love how you decorated it....Christine
ReplyDeleteSonny I love your cloche. This decorating is just great fun.
ReplyDeleteVery cute post! You did a great job creating your cloche display, it's very pretty!
ReplyDeleteKatherine
When I first looked at your cloche I didn't know it was a cake plate until I read your post. It's very beautiful and the little birdies are so sweet. Happy cloche day and happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteRebcca
great idea, I saw a cheese cover cloche too, Happy Easter
ReplyDeleteMorning Sunny,
ReplyDeleteI love your cake plate cloche, it is adorable!
What a great idea! I just got my first cloche,
it was a $2.50 find at the hospice shop. It is really a glass chimney from a Sconce, and has
a hole in the top, but you can't tell now.
I might post some of my Easter decorations on
Monday since I didn't get to this week. Hope you and yours have a Most Blessed and Holy Easter,
Nellie
I thought about using a covered cake plate, but I did not have a large enough place cleared out to display it once decorated.....maybe next time. Your cake cloche was just too cute and sooo springy. If I was a bird, I would want to nest there....if I could breathe of course. hehe Thanks for sharing and stopping by. Became a follower.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~

Works for me! :-) I thought about doing a mini vignette under my cake dome, but just never got around to it - like a lot of other things lately.
ReplyDeletethat is a great cloche!! I love it. I was gonna come to the party but just didn't. Your vignette looks a lot nicer than any of mine.
ReplyDeleteSonny, I love your vignette! Your cloche is beautifully decorated! Joy to you this Easter.
ReplyDeleteBeth
What a great cake cloche! Thanks for the idea -- I'll bet lot's of us will be following your lead for the next cloche party! Love your pretty birds.
ReplyDeleteyour creativeness always makes me smile. your hands always present us with something beautiful. keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteit's beautiful!
It most certainly is a cloche! A BIG one. The littles birdies look very happy inside...
ReplyDeleteTalk to you soon ;)
