Yellow In Many Shades

A YELLOW party ~ at Mellow Yellow Monday..
please visit her blog, link is below.
I also joined in Meta Monday since Before I didnt have my yellow out to display and now I do.
So thats the before and after part...:-)
Metamorphosis Monday at Between Naps On The Porch
I'll try to remember where each item came from- how much they were and any other vital information about them.
The set of yellow dishes you see in the plate holder are from walmart. They are now on sale for only 29.99, 8 dollars cheaper than I paid last year.. To my eye they are beautiful and always make a lovely table setting. Just as important is the fact that they are heavy and sturdy, dishwasher and microwave safe. The bowls are deep and keep stews, soups or hot cereal warmer alot longer than most of my other bowls... Mr. Rooster I got off ebay for 24.oo I believe... he's a cutie and a keeper...
This is my first time participating in Mellow Yellow Monday.. I looked around the house and found as many of my yellow items as I could..
                                               http://mellowyellowmonday.blogspot.com/
Most of the other items were fabulous finds from Goodwill.
The salt and pepper ..shakers were 50 cents.
The yellow platter with blue floral was 2.50
The large Rooster display plate was 3.00
My rooster salad plates are from homegoods- 4 for 7.99
My Biscotti cookie jar another goodwill find for 4.00
Pear plate was a gift from my DD and I adore it.

I love all my yellow items and I hope you do to.
I'm sure after I post I'll remember where some of my other yellow pieces are ..
Hopefully it'll be spring soon and I can show you a whole bed of marigolds in shades of yellow.

Thanks for stopping in to see my Yellow and please come back often..
