CooLicious Cookies

  Hi Folks~!

It sure feels like summer in NC today.  We're supposed to hit 90 degrees this afternoon and a cookout with neighbors is planned for this evening..   So of course I needed to look for some cool summery tasting dessert.

I found this recipe and could almost taste the tangy sweetness while I was reading the recipe. What could be better on a hot night than coolicious cookies that melt tangy goodness on your tongue.

Some sweet tea to sip along with them and you have Southern Sweetness to Smile about.. Add friendly folks who are willing to grill some burgers and dogs for ya and another neighbor who offered to bring all the condments and buns.. Wow I sure am grateful to live in such a great place.
Wish ya'll were here to join us..

enjoy and thanks for stopping in to visit me..I wish you a wonderful weekend filled with Joy and Happiness.

hugs to ALL..

Living Room Mood Board

   Hi Folks.

Did ya'll think I got lost:)   actually I sorta did.
Its been a very rainy week in NC and I'm still in the process of setting up 2 new windows 8 computers with all the programs we need for work and play around here.  Its going very well but to give my mind a rest in between reading xhtml's and finding patches so old programs work with this new process I've been making a mood board for the Spring living room decor.
I have shelves full of accessories,,   lots of live plants to sit around and more than enough wall decor.
The sofa and rug were in place back in november , so lamps chairs and fabrics were what needed to be chosen.

Hopefully by mid march I can have my pillows and drapes made and the other items in place. I've decided not to rush this process and just enjoy it.    For the winter season, things will be swapped out for the black white and apple green but I think the additions of aqua teal and varying shades in between will be nice for a spring/summer room.

thanks so much for stopping by to see me.   I'll get back to posting more often soon.
In the meantime I sure am enjoying coming to visit ya'll..

Dang Good Thing I'm a Saver

   Hi..
 Did Ya'll think I got lost :)

I'm here and learning Windows 8 and now also teaching it to my Daughter.   Its kinda like the blind leading the blind, except luckily she doesnt have to have all the programs on her pc that I do, so I can already tell its gonna be a lot easier for her.

While I'm on this subject I just want to say Nortons antivirus and Firewall- that comes free as a 3 month trial WITH your Windows 8, is a royal pain in the patootie and I suggest you use AVG which is also compatible.  I am speaking from personal experience here and all opinions are strickly my own..

anyway-  why is it a good thing I'm thrifty and a major monthly saver:)  cause right at Christmas time I had to buy 2 , thats right  2 brand new computers since ours went Kafllooie~!

As soon as I get all this figured out -- all my programs loaded and functioning properly I'll get back to my decor posting..

In the mean time I'll be visiting ya'll and enjoying what you're doing..

 xoxo
