Yellow Thrifting Treasures

I went thrifting last week and founds some pretty treasure with yellow on them.
My favorite is the bunny topped dish. Sometimes it amazes me how I just find things at the time of year when they are most appropriate and needed.. I can just see Tommy's greek chicken salad in it. Its nice and heavy, so if I chill it in advance it'll keep everything nice and crisp, especially the marinated cucumbers. Makes my mouth water just to think about it.. I could'nt resist the cream and sugar set for only 50 cents. If nobodies looking I might use the cream pitcher for dressing and the sugar bowl for croutons,, but shhhhhhh dont tell , OK...
I made my own bunny plate since I didnt have one.. My neighbor let me use her printer. I cant eat off of it but it sure is PURDY, as we say in the south...
I'm participating in Mellow Yellow Monday. You'll find the Tag on my sidebar. Just click it to go and see all the other folks who joined in this weeks posts...
Is that one wild eyed bunny , or what... hahahahaha
played with the photos in my art program.. this looks so romantic.. Bunnies and Romance, do they go together? umm maybe :-)
Thought I might try a mosaic too..
Thanks so much for visiting me and coming to see my new treasures..
Happy Spring and please say a prayer for all of our fellow bloggers who are sick. We may only be in the internet but we're FAMILY..

Irish Afternoon Tea at Sonny's

Its still tuesday so I'm not to late.. I wanted to leave Lori's table up a couple days till I was sure everyone had seen it and she got a chance to see all your sweet comments.
I didnt do a table , just a little afternoon tea for Me and Tommy.  Men~! he walked straight in and asked me if I expected him to eat green cake. I said , no , ya dont have too .. I can take it next door:-) He likes to tease me almost better than he likes to eat, Almost..   I made some pistachio pudding too, cause the old boy like it and I like him, so...
I wish you all the Happiest of St Patty's Day.
Lets get on with this party , shall we...
My Green Thumb Gnome has arrived to bring a great harvest to my garden. He always arrives in early spring and sprinkles his magic around. Since he always helps me I thought it only right to invite him in for a snack..
Please go visit all these parties to see more St. Pattys Day and other delights

Thank you all for coming by to see my Irish Afternoon Tea. I wish you were here to eat some of that cake.
I wish you and yours all the Blessings heaven allows and I hope we can all meet here again next St. Pattys Day..
Ps.. Kathys comment reminded me I forgot to give you the recipe for the St Patty Cake...so here it is::
chocolate cake mix of your choice- mixed according to directions.
chop up to a fine state 3 peppermint patty candy rounds- the large ones
add to cake mix and bake as package directs
cool and frost.. I used cream cheese icing lightly tinted with green food coloring.
those mints melted into the cake give it a really yummy flavor and moistness.
ENJOY

Lori's Table Of Ireland~Simply Divine~!

I feel so honored to post Lori's table on my blog. She is a wonderful friend of mine who has supported me in my blogging experience since I first mentioned I'd like to try it... I was able to show you her bedroom transformation a couple of months ago and it got great reviews. She is a hard working lady with 2 jobs and a family, yet she still finds time to make her table special for herself and guests. She used the colors in the Irish flag and foods that are a true Irish meal. Simple, elegant and authentic.. Doesnt get better than that, does it..
Lori doesnt have a blog so that means I am so LUCKY to be able to present her creativity to you.
I hope you'll enjoy viewing it as much as I did...
 (((Lori))) you did good girl~!
Many thanks to Susan for hosting the Meta Monday party @~be sure to go and see all the other talented folks who are also participating.. It tickles all of us bloggers to get visitors and comments,
and you will be sure to see some great eye candy and lots of terrific inspiration.

Thank you Kathleen for hosting this St. Patty's day party.
Beautiful tulips, brown bread and irish stew..YUM . I sure wish I'd gotten to taste it. I can tell just by looking it was delicious... Love those placemats Lori used. I need to find out where she got those. I love those little bowls you used.. I believe I saw you say they were inherited from your dear mother in law, so of course that makes them extra special..
That book cover makes me want to book a trip to Ireland..
She found those amazing tulips at the grocery store. Only 8.00 for the bunch.. I want some ~!!
Cubed cheese and brown bread. I could easily make a meal out of that..  I like the napkins tied with bows, so sweet and homey looking.
Doesnt it look like you could sit right down and enjoy this meal.. It does to me and I hope someday I get a chance to visit her and do just that.. Thank you LORI for allowing me to post your pretty Irish table..
I cant say it enough about how much I appreciate your visit and your comments.. Looks like it might not be alot longer till I'll be doing a Giveaway and I know for a fact I'm way more excited about it than the winner will be , giggle... only 25 folks to go and whoppie, it'll be time..
Happy Monday to ((ALL))
